LAS VEGAS, BABY!!!

 

PART 2:

 

After a TREK through the 24th century,


Decked out in loud, deliberately “Tourist” clothes with hawaiaan shirts, hats, and beads, Kel and I hit the old casinos, found a huge meal for 3.99, fried twinkies, 99 cent margaritas and shrimp cocktails, and one dollar blackjack.

  <>To attract new visitors, the city put an AMAZING lightshow called the “Fremont Street Experience”, complete with 4 blocks of pounding music, laser lights, and a video show five stories above our heads.

Every half hour we would come back out for a different show, including psychadelic flowers, ocean views, and my fave, a huge space battle.

Ending our night in the wee hours of the morning, Kel an I headed for a Taxi.. but not before seeing the man we had come to Vegas to see..


The Next Day, we met up with our old friends the Barnsons.

Figured we’d find them in the Star Trek place.



Matt and I got the chance to ride a freefall ride on top of a 1081 ft tall tower called the STRATOSPHERE. We rode twice.. this is the one I stayed Conscious for. For a complete story of that day:

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our friends, and get some sleep, because the next day we were going to tour the famous LAS VEGAS STRIP!
